Red Hawks Split Season Opener The Creek Wood Red Hawks opened their 2003 golf season at home against McEwen, splitting with the visitors. The McEwen boys, behind ace Tyler Hooper's 35, beat an Elizabeth Dotson led boys team, 181-194. Dotson, playing with the big hitters, was medalist runner-up with a 38. On the girls side, the Lady Red Hawks pulled out a 115-134 win behind medalist Taylor Fayette, who fired a 52 in her first varsity competition.
